“Due to the recent news and development it is with regret that the Swiss Alpine Battle has to announce that the athletes who have been prohibited from participating in any CrossFit-sanctioned event will not be competing in this year’s Swiss Alpine Battle. We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our position and that our stance has always been clear: we are against the use of performance enhancing drugs in our sport.”

“On Friday @crossfitgames announced that five regional competitors receive a four year ban due to positive tests for performance-enhancing drugs.⠀

The German Throwdown has a very clear stance on the use of PEDs in our sport and therefore will also ban the named athletes for the next four years.”
