“Ricky Garard is the most humble, loyal & selfless person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am so grateful to share a life with him, a life full of hurdles and challenges that we will face together. I will support my man to the end, as I know he would do the same for me.
As many of you are aware, basically overnight our entire world has been turned upside down. For those of you that truly know Ricky will understand this was never his intention.
What so many of you don’t know or see is the days, weeks, months & years Ricky has sacrificed to become the best athlete he can be. He has put in more physical work than many would ever attempt, in order to get to the top. CrossFit was Ricky’s life!
We have spent the last 2 years learning how to become healthier people, eat right & use many natural health products. We put so much emphasis into our health, nutrition & physical activity to ensure we are living life to our fullest, not only for Ricky in competition, but for day to day life too. What we didn’t consider in this was all of Ricky’s supplements & I blame myself for not doing more research into this 1 particular product we were convinced was ok.

We messed up! We made a mistake & this is something we will live with forever. We apologies to all those that have been let down & who feel hurt from all of this. We are truly sorry.
Right now, times are tough, but Ricky is dealing with this really well and staying strong. We are sticking together & facing this head on. Please remember that Ricky is still the same guy you’ve always known, he’s still human & he still bleeds. You have the right to your opinion but no negativity wanted here. In times like these we also realize who those people are that will stick by us in anything.
Thank you to all our friends, family & the Crossfit community who have reached out with your kind messages & support. We really appreciate it. There’s also a lot of negative talk. Don’t believe everything you read from @crossfitgames or on social media. There are lots of lies, rumors & deception they’ll never expose publicly!
