Dave Castro, Director of The CrossFit Games, recently asked Rich Froning if he would like a Wild Card Spot for the individual competition.
Dave Castro: “want a wildcard spot.”
Rich Froning: “no”
Dave Castro: “I had to ask. it would have been exciting”
Although his response was negative, this was one battle that many fans would love to watch.
Only two Wild Card spots have been used so far. They went to Ben Smith and Hunter McIntyre.
