CROSSFIT OPEN STORY TIME FROM BROOKE WELLS

“LIL STORY TIME. I did 20.1 not once, not twice, but three times 🤦🏻‍♀️ First time through was okay. Second time through was a complete disaster. I was so caught up in just beating my previous time that I worked myself up to be so nervous. I wanted to put a good score on the leaderboard, and once I realized that wasn’t likely to happen- I quit.

I have never quit a workout. This was not like me. So I spent the afternoon regrouping myself & focusing on the important things- like doing this workout for ME, and proving to myself I am NOT a quitter.

I improved my score by 50 seconds by focusing on myself, and believing in myself- instead of focusing on what the clock had to say.”
